Hello my dear students!!! I hope that you are all alright!!! Anyway I must continue with the program. Please don´t leave everything for the last moment! For this one you only need a  soft lead pencil  ( 3B or higher ), a regular   black pen   or thin-liner,and  drawing paper. We are going to work with one of the  basic visual elements ,  the light , or you can say as well,  the value. Normaly, when we try to  observe and analyse the light of an image , or from reality, we take the colour out of the scene.  We try to imagine  the image in  black and white.  This way we don´t get confused with the different brightness of each colour, and we can focus only in the  value of light. But, what´s the value of light?  Simple. Is  how much white light is in each part of the image.  How  dark , or how  bright  is each part. - Highlight - light - Halftone - Form shadow - Cast shadow ...

Hello everybody! Since nobody from 2ºA or 2ºC has writen the rules for the two first artistics drawings we talked about, I am going to set the rules for them... . Again! The students from 2ºB must start this project, after they finish the "Technical curves composition". You should remember from last year, 1ºESO, the basic visual elements: - Dot - line - stain or shape - light or value - colour - texture As you can see in here, we could add space , and volume- form , but I prefer to think only about the six basic visual elements,  I wrote about before. We are not going to practice with the dot or point , doing pointillism, but I want you to experiment with the line and the stain . Hola a todos de nuevo! En un comentario de la entrada anterior explico un poco, o trato de hacerlo, lo que es una escala volante, o escala gráfica. En las copias que os dí, viene explicado en la primera página, en el último párrafo. Una escala volante es una escala gráfica, que dibujamos en una cartulina o papel, más o menos grueso, recortamos, y podemos utilizar para hacer dibujos a escala de manera rápida, segura, exacta y sencilla. Mirad. Esta es la construcción de una escala gráfica de 4/3 . Una escala volante sería lo mismo, pero recortando el resultado para que nos resulte cómodo usarla.... 4cm en el dibujo que quiero hacer, son 3 cm en la pieza u objeto real. Como veis , en la recta auxiliar, se sitúan los 30 mm, o 3 cm, como queráis, y en la recta horizontal los 40mm, los 4cm del dibujo. Hello everybody! I hope you all are all right! As you might remember, the last day we were starting a watercolour painting, in where we are going to use olny one range of colour; warm colours, or could colours. Remember that I told you to use a white and black copy from a photo, in case that you need it, because the image must be complicated enough, and rich in shapes and shades, enough. The final work must have as many different shades of colour as you can! Hola chic@s! Espero que estéis todos bien. Vamos a seguir viendo ahora escalas y sistemas de representación. Escalas supongo que ya sabéis más o menos de que se trata. Es una proporción que expresa, se escribe, o se establece, por medio de una fracción. Esta fracción en dibujo técnico es así: Dibujo/Realidad. Es decir; a una medida en el dibujo / otra en la realidad.  Por ejemplo, la mitad de algo, se expresa con la escala 1/2 . Osea que, en el dibujo tenemos 1 , y en la realidad tenemos 2, con lo que en el dibujo tenemos la mitad de lo que mide en la realidad, porque 1 es la mitad de 2.
