2ºA, 2ºB and 2ºC ESO
Hello everybody!
Since nobody from 2ºA or 2ºC has writen the rules for the two first artistics drawings we talked about, I am going to set the rules for them.... Again!
The students from 2ºB must start this project, after they finish the "Technical curves composition".
You should remember from last year, 1ºESO, the basic visual elements:
- Dot
- line
- stain or shape
- light or value
- colour
- texture

You should remember from last year, 1ºESO, the basic visual elements:
- Dot
- line
- stain or shape
- light or value
- colour
- texture
As you can see in here, we could add space, and volume- form, but I prefer to think only about the six basic visual elements, I wrote about before.
We are not going to practice with the dot or point, doing pointillism, but I want you to experiment with the line and the stain.
This are the rules for the two drawings:
Line work
First EXPERIMENT in regular papers with the line and these conceps. You MUST GIVE ME, at least, TWO SKETCHES.
- A4 drawing paper
- Usual frame
- Free colour drawing
- Materials:
- pens
- thin-liners
- markers
- coloured pencils
- Use different thicknes for your lines, and different types.
- Experiment with a personal stroke. From smoth lines to violent ones.
- Use hatching and cross hatching for diferent areas of the drawing.
.
Here are some examples about the different ways we can use the line.

Stain (coloured pencils)
First EXPERIMENT in regular papers with the line and these conceps. You MUST GIVE ME, at least, TWO SKETCHES.
- A4 drawing paper
- Free coloured drawing
- Take into consideration the shapes and the background. WORK THE BACKGROUND
- Materials: ONLY, coloured pencils.
- the drawing must show, at least, these three ways of using the pencils:
- Solid colour areas. pressing hard withthe pencil and not leaving white spaces.
- Gradations. controling the presure you use when you draw.
- Mixing colours with layers. Drawing first a smoth layer and them another overlaping, with a different colour.
- You might use other different techniques that you like...
Here you can see a video demostration with coloured pencils:
Thats all for now.
Be creative and do not copy drawings from internet!
REMEMBER: write with any question you might have, and WRITE YOUR NAME IN THE MESSAGE. ineed to know who are you!!
Be save!
GREETINGS!!!

How are you doing with these projects?

ResponderEliminarHi Carlos, I'm Daniel Barberá, could you explain what I have to do in the work of 《Stain (colored pencils)》 ?. Thank you.
Hello Daniel!
ResponderEliminarWe are back!
Es dibujo libre, pero utilizando los lápices de colores como viene explicado. Al menos tiene que haber:
- mezcla de colores por capas = Mixing colours with layers. Drawing first a smoth layer and them another overlaping, with a different colour.
- Colores planos.
= Gradations. controling the presure you use when you draw.
En el vídeo se explica como hacer cada cosa y más técnicas.
Hay que hacer dos pruebas o bocetos, y luego un dibujo final en papel de dibujo A4.
Un saludo!
