1ºESO Arts. VISUAL TEXTURE

Imagen
Hi Everybody! This is the next project we are going to be working on: As you should remember we have already estudied the basic visual elements we can find in every image, and one of those was the TEXTURE. There are two kinds of texture . We can tell apart from the actual or tactil texture, from the visual texture. - The acctual texture  is perceived by the touch sense, but we can see it as well. - The visual texture is persived only by the sight. If we touch the surface of the object, we are not going to notice any diference. Is a texture that is represented. It is painted or drawn. All this textures examples are painted and drawn. So they are visual textures. If we touch the paper, we are going to feel the texture of the paper, but not of what is represented. In this following link you have a presentation abaut different kinds of textures:   https://www.slideshare.net/luciaag/texturas3 Visual textures: Frottage video:

1ºESO. COLOUR RANGE DRAWING

Imagen
HELLO EVERYBODY!!! We are going to continue with the study of colour by doing a  coloured drawing, using a range. Take a look first to this slides made by the teacher Marga , and read closely. It is a good review of the colour theory we have talk about. Colour 1 eso from margaprofe Which are the primary colours? Which are the secondary colours?  What are the warm colours or cool colours? What are complementary colours? What is a range of colours? A range of colours is a group of colours that have some  relationship  among them . For now, we are going to work in a drawing, using a temperature range. This are two ranges  (two groups) of colours that we perceive as warm colours or cool colours : So. This is the last project you have to do: TEMPERATURE RANGE DRAWING In a A4 drawing paper. A free l andscape (paisaje) ususing only the coloured pencils. Use the techniques we have learnt about mixing colours, grada...

2ªC Bachillerato TGP. Técnicas mixtas.

Imagen
Hola a tod@s!

SHADING (The light II)

Imagen
Hello everybody!!! I hope you are doing fine. Now that we have been practicing with the soft pencil, and the black pens, we hare going to start drawing in black and white, taking care of the different shadows and lights. The last work we did was a grey scale, or gradation, and in this new project we are going to use all the things we learnt doing that scale. It would be a really good idea to have the gradation project around, while you work in this new drawing, to check all the different greys you are able to do! Here is the link for the last project we did, the gradation. In case you need to refresh your memory: https://carlosprofedearte.blogspot.com/2020/03/2a-2b2c-eso-light-mandad-trabajos.html This time, you are  not going to do a free drawing. I am going to give you a black and white photo of an animal, and you are going to copy it on a drawing paper , using the material and the technique you find yourself more confortable with. Those would be;  Black pen or ...

4º Arts LIGHT AND VOLUME Shadows- light

Imagen
Hello everybody! I hope you are all right! Since I imagine everybody has a pencil at home, and probably an egg too, we are going to observe and analyze how the light works in nature, and how we can represent it with a humble pencil. Basically, we are going to do what it is explained in the video. We are going to observe how different kinds of lights iluminate an object ( an egg).   Them, we are going to use a soft-lead pencil to draw all the shadows, and lights. Hopefully , when  the drawing is done  you will have a 3D drawing! Actually, the light is the most important visual element in an image to define the volume of the objects. So, here are the steps: Take an egg and place it on a white sheet of paper. We are going to prepare two kind of l ightings sets : Diffused light. You are going to place your "egg on the paper", mini still- life, next to a window. Them, observe , and draw. Hard-straight direct light. You need to use a lamp to il...

1ºESO. COLOUR WHEEL

Imagen
HELLO EVERYBODY!!! We are going to continue with the study of colour by doing a colour -wheel. I have told you about light and how it works. Do you remember? The white light or visible light (the sun light) is an electromagnetic wave. The only kind of wave that we can perceive with our sight . You can see here all the types of elctromagnetic waves there are in the universe, and how,  the visible light, is only that short range in the middle of the spectrum: So let´s say that colour is a quality of light , and that each colour has a wave lenght . The light reflects on the objects, and we are able to perceive the colour of each object, because it only reflects the wave length of the colour the object is. That means that a tomato, for example, only reflects the wave lenght of the colour red. Anyhow, we can study the colour as light, or as a material . Coloured lights, like the ones you are seeing out of your computer right now, or coloured paints, like coloure...
