Hello everybody!
I hope you all are all right!

 As you might remember, the last day we were starting a watercolour painting, in where we are going to use olny one range of colour;
warm colours, or could colours.

 Remember that I told you to use a white and black copy from a photo, in case that you need it, because the image must be complicated enough, and rich in shapes and shades, enough.

 The final work must have as many different shades of colour as you can!

 By the end of the week I will be posting new staff, and a new project to do, also with the watercolour technique!

      ¡Espero estéis bien!
      Entiendo lo que dices del papel. Es un problema. Por ahora os voy a mandar y explicar actividades nuevas en el blog, para las que necesitareis papel de dibujo y lápiz blando, 3B o superior.
      Yo no sé cuanto puede durar esto, pero me da que más de lo que en principio se estableció. Así pues, habrá que ir pensando en comprar online, si se puede. Ir mirando que precios hay y que pedidos se pueden hacer. De todas maneras ya veremos. Hay que adaptarse....
      Id guardando todo cartón o cartulina, o madera, susceptible de poderse pintar encima... No tiréis, hay que reciclar!
      Acabo de acordarme que en el Carrefour hay material de dibujo!!!

      No te obligo a nada ( pero si vais a ir a por comida de todas manera, acordaos)
      Como te digo, publicaré actividades alternativas...

HELLO EVERYBODY!!! We are going to continue with the study of colour by doing a colour -wheel. I have told you about light and how it works. Do you remember? The white light or visible light (the sun light) is an electromagnetic wave. The only kind of wave that we can perceive with our sight . You can see here all the types of elctromagnetic waves there are in the universe, and how,  the visible light, is only that short range in the middle of the spectrum: So let´s say that colour is a quality of light , and that each colour has a wave lenght . The light reflects on the objects, and we are able to perceive the colour of each object, because it only reflects the wave length of the colour the object is. That means that a tomato, for example, only reflects the wave lenght of the colour red. Anyhow, we can study the colour as light, or as a material . Coloured lights, like the ones you are seeing out of your computer right now, or coloured paints, like coloure...

1ºESO Arts. VISUAL TEXTURE

Hi Everybody! This is the next project we are going to be working on: As you should remember we have already estudied the basic visual elements we can find in every image, and one of those was the TEXTURE. There are two kinds of texture . We can tell apart from the actual or tactil texture, from the visual texture. - The acctual texture  is perceived by the touch sense, but we can see it as well. - The visual texture is persived only by the sight. If we touch the surface of the object, we are not going to notice any diference. Is a texture that is represented. It is painted or drawn. All this textures examples are painted and drawn. So they are visual textures. If we touch the paper, we are going to feel the texture of the paper, but not of what is represented. Hello my dear students!!! I hope that you are all alright!!! Take a look to this video. It is useful for your coloured pencil drawing you are suposed to be doing. It is important you practice with the coloured pencils for the next project too, because we are going to use them to study COLOUR. GREETINGS!!!
